The Cape 400 Series Analogue Remote Control System

We have recently released our new analogue control system, the 400 Series. For users who require one or two channels of analogue control, with either voltage or current output, the 400 Series makes a simple and affordable means of precise control for such applications as speed controlled winches, hoists and specialist lifting equipment. The 400 Series page shows the single channel type 401 transmitter, but two channels are available on our standard receiver, which can be run separately or linked to give two different outputs from a single joystick controller if required. For applications where more than two channels are required, it is possible to link two receivers together, and custom - designed systems are always possible where a customer has specific needs. Main line contactor relays / safety relays are included on the standard receiver, as are output isolation relays to ensure smooth operation on start-up.

Please see the 400 Series pagefor further specification, download a data sheet (pdf) here, or contact us on (+44)1535 690737 or by email for further details.

The Cape 135 Series Roller Door Control System

We are pleased to announce the release of our new budget-priced roller shutter door control system, the 135 Series. Based on the same microcontroller technology as all our remote control systems, the 135 series provides reliable and consistent control of up to three circuits, allowing identical control to the existing manual pushbuttons on most roller shutter doors.
Two types of transmitter are currently available for this system: the 106-3, a three button pocket unit, and the 108, a vehicle mount unit capable of controlling up to twelve separate door receivers by means of a rotary selector switch. The 108 transmitter is particularly suited to use on fork trucks in loading bays on larger sites.

Please see the 135 Series pagefor further specification, download a data sheet (pdf) here, or contact us on (+44)1535 690737 or by email for further details.

The Cape 300 Series Crane Radio Control System

March 2001 saw the launch of our latest remote control system, the 300 Series. This system features outputs for Main Line Contactor, Hooter, Monitor Relay and twenty-two volt-free outputs.
This format allows for up to four dual-speed motions as well as up to three auxiliary relays for control of lighting or magnets. The system is very simple to operate, being housed in a familiar pendant configuration, and due to its low voltage logic can operate on the smallest of battery packs for up to twenty hours continuous use.

Please see the 300 Series page for further specification, download a data sheet (pdf) here, or contact us on (+44)1535 690737 or by email for further details.

The Cape 122 Series Access Controller

Another recent additon to our range is the 122 Series access controller. This unit is particularly useful when a degree of access control is required for electrically operated equipment such as lift doors and electrically operated door locks. The system comprises a small, remotely mounted printed circuit board, a single-hole mounted sensor / indicator unit, and one or more infra-red keyfob type transmitters.
Due to its simplicity, the 122 Series Access Controller avoids the high costs traditionally associated with entry systems, which are often too complicated for the simple applications mentioned above.
For further detail, please see the 122 Series page, download a data sheet (pdf) here,or contact us on (+44)1535 690737 or by email.

The Cape 2100 Parallel Port Relay Box

The Parallel Port Relay Box type 2100 was designed for use where one or more pieces of mains powered equipment need to be controlled from the parallel port of a personal computer. The 2100 features eight IEC type shuttered mains sockets, each capable of supplying a maximum of five Amps, up to a maximum of thirteen Amps total. The unit simply plugs into the a standard thirteen Amp mains socket and attaches to the parallel port of a personal computer. The relays can then be switched on and off by simply writing the appropriate chracters to the parallel port. The unit is ideal for control of lighting effects, sound effects and where mains appliances are to be tested using computer control. A serial port version is to be produced soon to complement the 2100. For full details, see our General Electronics page, download a data sheet (pdf) here, or contact us by email.
