| A typical example of this type of work was produced for Aerovac Systems to provide a means of flash testing vacuum bagging material. This unit (pictured right) was produced in approximately four weeks from enquiry to delivery, and features microprocessor control of a rising current to test the self-extinguishing characteristics of different bagging materials. |

| Another recent design was produced for the control of various
lighting and sound effects by utilizing a computer parallel port. The unit
shown is capable of providing eight channels of mains switching at a maximum
of five Amps per channel to an overall maximum of thirteen Amps. The unit
is controlled by simple parallel port commands, which can easily be written
into existing control programs or written as a stand-alone application.

| A useful variation on the mains relay box shown above is
a low-voltage version designed for educational use. This unit is powered
from a standard 12 Volt plug-in power supply and again attaches to the
parallel port of a pc to allow control of four channels, each capable of
switching 5 Amps at up to 24V DC. The unit is supplied complete with 12
Volt power supply and a suitable parallel port cable. All output connections
are made using standard 4mm plugs.

| The humidity controller shown opposite was designed and
produced for Electrotek of West Yorkshire. The unit controls the level
of humidity in an anaerobic cabinet, diving a dehumidifying fan when the
measured humidity level rises above a set level. This design utilizes a
remotely positioned humidity sensor, allowing the user to position the
sensor in the most appropriate area, while the circuit board itself can
be positioned away from the test area.
